Bella Vista Painting isn’t just a business; it’s the story of us. When Luis suggested starting our own painting company, I’ll admit, I wasn’t immediately on board. “Another painting company?” I said. But anyone who knows Luis knows how persistent he can be.
With his years of expertise and my willingness to take bold leaps, we decided to give it a shot. And once I said yes—I was all in. Together, we’ve built not just a business, but a legacy for our family. It’s been a labor of love, with plenty of late nights, lots of laughs, and countless walls transformed.
What sets us apart is simple: family. Literally. Luis’s siblings, cousins, and childhood friends are part of our team. My sister, Nicole, is the voice you hear when you call us, delivering the kind of customer service that turns first-time clients into lifelong ones. Our Operations Manager, Kellyn, ensures every project runs smoothly, from estimates to execution.
Being a family business isn’t just about who we employ—it’s about how we work. We approach every project as if it’s for our own home, putting in the time, effort, and care to get it right. And when you see our team working together, whether on-site or at family gatherings, you’ll understand why “family” is at the core of everything we do.

Her boutique agency focuses on styling homes with pops of color and personality—something we adore. Working with her team introduced us to color blocking, a bold and creative technique that has become a Bella Vista specialty.

Instead of viewing them as competitors, we embrace “community over competition.” Referring clients to other contractors when needed has fostered relationships that benefit everyone. It’s a philosophy we’re proud of, and one that’s helped us stand out in the Vancouver and Portland markets.

We stripped the failing paint down to the original wood and applied a high-quality primer and paint system. The result was stunning—and it reinforced our commitment to doing things the right way, every time.
