Have you been paying attention to color & fashion trends? How about the Superbowl LVI Half Time Show? I don’t know about you, but I loved the 90’s. Probably because I was just a kid living a simple life. Somethings, however, can stay in the 90’s like spikey bleached hair & pencil thin brows. I am very excited for this years half time show though, have you seen who will be performing? Only the best! Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige…. EPIC!
Now back to the real reason you came here, to find out if 90’s color trends are coming back . The answer is yes and no. Yes to the greens and jewel tones. No to the oak cabinets & reds. Not right now at least, maybe in the future (PLEASE NO!) Everyone has been on the Joanna Gaines grey, modern farmhouse trend for a while now and while still pretty popular, other trends have been moving in. Colors like forest/jewel green (check out our Instagram to see our in process primary suite) & white. White is forever classic and will always be in. When using white, even white on white on white, you add your color with your décor. It’s just like a blank canvas and you become the artist with the way you decorate and add furniture.
So while some 90’s trends are making it’s way back, like bell bottom jeans (I know they’re from the 70’s originally) & scrunchies, so far, none of the cringe 90’s trends are making their way back to our modern world quite yet. Here’s the deal, you’re home is just that. Your home. You get to decide what’s in and what’s not in your own home, but if you need help with color selection, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
